INVITATION FOR BIDS
 
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION OF
 FORMER MADISON COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL
 
 
Bids will be received by the Madison County Nursing Home Board of Trustees until 10 AM on November 13, 2018, for the following. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter.
 
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION OF
FORMER MADISON COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL
 
Bids may be submitted by either of the following methods:
 
Sealed bids will be received until 10 AM on November 13, 2018, at the Administrator’s Office at the Madison County Nursing Home, Attention Daniel Logan, 1421-A East Peace Street, Canton, MS 39046. All sealed bids submitted to the Administrator’s Office shall have the bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number and “Bid—Abatement and Demolition Old Hospital” written on the outside face of the envelope. If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened and considered. Additionally, all bids must include a signed copy of the bid sheet 
Electronic bids will be received until 10 AM on November 13, 2018, as a PDF file at www.centralbidding.com. Each bidder submitting a bid electronically shall include its Certificate of Responsibility Number as part of its PDF electronic bid submittal. Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the bidder’s Certificate of Responsibility Number as part of its PDF electronic bid submittal shall not be considered. Additionally, all electronically submitted bids must include a signed copy of the bid sheet as an attachment. 
The asbestos abatement specifications and the demolition specifications for this project are on file and open for public inspection at the Administrator’s Office at the Madison County Nursing Home, 1421-A East Peace Street, Canton, MS 39046. A copy of the specifications may be procured by either of the following methods:

Email a request to [email protected] to arrange to pick up a copy of the specifications on a USB drive at the Madison County Nursing Home or to have said USB drive mailed to you. There is no change for the specifications when using either method in Option 2. 
The Madison County Nursing Home Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
