Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Brazoria NWR – Chocolate Bay Prairie Unit Hydrological Restoration Project.
 
The project base bid generally consists of 9,243 C.Y.-P of excavation, the installation of one 60” aluminum riser with 36” aluminum pipe water control structure, three 48” aluminum culverts, three 24” aluminum culverts, 44,672 S.F.-P. tied concrete block mat, and 11.0 acres of seeding. The mandatory Additive Bid Alternate #1 generally consists of 614 C.Y.-P of excavation, 130 C.Y.-P of embankment, and 0.6 acres of seeding. The mandatory Additive Bid Alternate #2 generally consists of 70 C.Y.-P of embankment, four 48” aluminum culverts, and 0.2 acres of seeding.
 
This work described as base bid, additive bid alternate #1, and additive bid alternate #2 shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, clearing and other items outlined in the plans or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures.
 
The unit price bids for the base bid, additive bid alternate #1, and additive bid alternate #2 shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein.
