The Work Consists of Constructing Approximately 15,000-Feet of Breakwaters in the Near Shore Region Around Southwest Point at Southwest Pass to Provide Shoreline Protection and Reduce Erosion.

Approximately 11,300-Feet of Breakwaters Shall Be Constructed with Either Precast Oysterbreak Armor Units, Precast Wavebreak Units, Precast Coastal Haven Wave Attenuation Devices (WADs), or a Combination of Two or All Three, on a Geogrid Composite Underlayer.

Approximately 3,700-Feet of Breakwaters Shall Be Constructed with Either Precast Oysterbreak Armor Units, Precast Wavebreak Units, Precast Coastal Haven WADs, or Rock on a Geogrid Composite underlayer.

The Work Shall Be Performed in Accordance with the Specifications and in Conformity to Lines, Grades, and Elevation Shown in the Plans or as Directed by the Engineer.
