The general scope of this project includes the construction of a single room  (+/-) 900 sq. ft. Storage Room Addition attached to the West Side of the Patterson Community Center, located at 116 Cotten Road, Patterson, La.  The new Storage Room will be constructed using a pre-engineered metal building addition on a concrete slab, with galv. metal stud wall framing and metal interior liner wall panels. The building exterior will be sheathed with pre-finished metal wall panels and standing seam roof panels. The slab-on-grade will be supported by concrete drill shafts, 12” in diameter and 10’-0” deep as shown on the foundation plans and details. 
The new Storage Room Addition shall include installation of an approved automatic Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) system and Fire Alarm system which shall be connected to the existing Community Center systems as required by code.  The addition shall also include installation of a standard DX central electric cooling and heating (heat pump) air conditioning system, required electrical service and lighting systems, suspended ceilings, painted slab finish, and misc. accessories, etc., all as outlined within the construction documents. Contractor shall also be responsible for removal of one (1) existing medium size tree and associated stump and root system located on the premises in way of the new construction.
