Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the MS WRE 2024 – Contract #2 project in Tallahatchie & Leflore Counties, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

There are 3 sites in this contract.  We will meet at the Money Road, LLC site.  From the intersection of I-55 and Hwy 8 in Grenada, MS go west on Hwy. 8 for 8.2 miles to Holcomb.  Turn right to stay on Hwy. 8 and continue west for 16 miles to Money Road.  Go south on Money Road for approximately 0.6 mile and the property will be on the left (west side of Money Road).  From the intersection of Hwy 82 and W. Park Avenue (red light) in Greenwood, MS go northeast on W. Park Avenue for 1 mile to Grand Boulevard.  Turn left and go north on Grand Boulevard, which will become Money Road (County Road 518) for 17 miles and the property will be on your left. (North 33.75084° and West 90.23248°)

Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, excavating swales, constructing new levees, installation of steel pipes and water control structures and installing structural spillways.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications.
 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
