LEGAL NOTICE
Sealed bids will be received by the Coahoma County Board of Supervisors, at the Offices of the County Administrator’s Office, Coahoma County Courthouse, Clarksdale, Mississippi until 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 1, 2020, for DRA Grant (MS 54386) Renovations & Addition, Saf-T-Cart Building, Coahoma County Board of Supervisors, Clarksdale, Mississippi.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday November 19, 2020 at Saf-T-Cart at 1322 Industrial Park Drive, Clarksdale, Mississippi 38614.
Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968 requires that the Owner and contractors participating in this CDBG project give opportunities for employment to lower income residents of the project area to the greatest extent feasible. Coahoma County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The County hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in a contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual preference, martial or veteran status or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award. Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

Bid deposit is $50.00, refundable to all contractors who actually submit a bid, except that $25.00 to cover the cost of reproduction will be deducted for each set from a bidder and for each set from subcontractors and suppliers who quote prices to bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to amend the specifications upon reasonable notice to all who have examined the specifications or requested copies from Richard M.
