A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on 03/19/2024 CST, at 2:00 PM CST, in the SCPH Cafeteria, 1057 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA 70070. The purpose of the conference is to discuss bid procedures, receive requests for clarifications and interpretations of the bid documents, and allow bidders to view the work site. All invited bidders must attend this conference. Bids will not be received from General Contractors not attending this meeting.

NEW CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP) IS A 3,405 SQUARE-FOOT BULDING, LOCATED AT 144 HALL STREET, LULING, LA 70070. ONE STORY STEEL FRAME STRUCTURE ON SLAB-ON-GRADE CONCRETE FOUNDATION, WITH A CONCRETE PARKING LOT. COVERED DROP-OFF AREA FOR PATIENTS, WALKWAYS, LANDSCAPE, AND FENCED IN OUTDOOR MEETING AREA. THE EXTERIOR WALLS ARE STUCCO AND STONE ON METAL STUD FRAMING WITH STOREFRONT, THE ROOF IS A COMBINATION OF STANDING SEAM METAL ROOF AND TPO OVER INSULATION AND METAL DECK.

Hello. Per addendum 2, changes were made to four architectural drawings (AS100, AS101, A030, A330). These pages were not included in addendum 2. Instead, you have two attachments with MEP drawings but one is labeled (002_Architectural Dwgs).

Addendum 003 (last addendum before bid opening) includes clarifications to AS100, landscaping questions, bicycle specifications section, clarification on pea gravel, specification for operable partition, PLAM lockers and appliances, and revised Civil drawings. Narrative for Civil: The pond on the west is replaced with an aggregate box on the east side. The aggregate box is a trench filled with clean aggregate wrapped with geotextile on all the sides butting ground to prevent soil infiltration. The trench shall be protected by 6" x 18" barrier curb around the perimeter. There will be a perforated underdrain to drain out water from the box. An overflow arrangement is provided to release excess water and avoid flooding. One additional catch basin is provided on the west side of the parking lot. The drainpipe size and invert levels mentioned in the drawing are based on preliminary calculations and may vary after the hydrology modelling is finalized. The grading shall be revised to match the flow pattern shown on the drawing.
