Bids will be received at the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board, 3761 Rosedale Road, Port AllenLA 70767 until 10:00AM., local time on Wednesday May 8, 2024
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders have the option tosubmit their bids electronically by using www.CentralAuctionHouse.com.

Upon payment of a $ 100.00 deposit for each set of documents. The deposit or a portion of thedeposit is returnable as provided by the Louisiana State Public Bid laws.
The successful Bidder will be allowed 30 calendar days to complete the Project from the date established in a Notice to Proceed. liquidated Damages will be assessed at $1,000 for each consecutive calendar day for which work is not substantially completed beyond the date set as the completion date in the Notice to Proceed.
Bid Documents may be reviewed at the office of the Architect, Dean Hotard and Associates, APAC at 570 North Jefferson Avenue, Suite B in Port Allen, LA 70767.
Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5 percent of the base bid and all additive alternates in the form of either a certified check or a bid bond.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Brusly Elementary School at 400 S. Labauve St. Brusly, LA 70719. Attendance at this Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY, and bidders must be present for the entire conference in order to submit a bid.
The Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Non- Collusion Affidavit, the Affidavit certifying compliance with R.S. 38:2212.10 regarding an employee verification system, the No Convictions Affidavit required by R.S. 38:2227, and other required affidavits/documentation as specified in the Bid Documents must be hand delivered by the apparent low bidder within 10 calendar days of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn from a period of 45 days after the bid opening except as provided by law.
Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing law, R.S. 37:2151 et seq.
 
The West Baton Rouge Parish School Board reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
