Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
 
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., local time.
 
Project Scope: Widen roadways, install sidewalks, install storm sewers, water system improvements, and sanitary sewer system improvements along the looped portion of Juanita Drive, north of 6th Street and north of the initial Phase 1 project.              
                                                                                                           
Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
 
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the Office of the City Engineer, located at 2201 University Blvd., Tuscaloosa, Alabama and plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  obtained  from  The Cassady Company, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at  4700 Highway 69 North, Northport, Alabama 35473.
