The project base bid generally consists of the construction of two, offshore, trapezoidal breakwater segments totaling 12,756 linear feet and 42,905 tons of rock riprap along with 27-day beacons. The project alt bid #1 generally consists of the construction of one, offshore, trapezoidal breakwater segment totaling 3,655 linear feet and 12,920 tons of rock riprap along with 9-day beacons. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, day beacon installation, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures.  This work shall also include performing the necessary fill, necessary excavation, necessary site preparation and other items outlined in the plans or associated with constructing the project according to the plans.  The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein.
