CAMPUS-WIDE PAVING PROJECT - 2022

Sealed bids for the construction of the Campus-Wide Paving Project - 2022, for Pearl River Community College located in Poplarville, Mississippi, will be received by the of the Pearl River Community College Board of Trustees until 2:00PM local time on Thursday, October 20th, 2022, at the Facility Planning and Construction building (112 wildcat drive Poplarville, MS 39470) on the Pearl River Community College Campus, Poplarville, Mississippi, and shortly thereafter will be opened and publicly read.
The work involved in the project includes the milling, leveling and/or base repair, overlay, painted traffic markings, and related items of work for various areas of the campus as described in the Contract Documents. All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P. A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, (601) 731-2600. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required at the time of request for Contract Documents. A copy of the Contract Documents may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering, P. A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429 during regular business hours or are available at www.dunganeng.com.
At the bidders option in lieu of submitting a physical sealed bid, official documents may be downloaded, and electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Bids shall be received electronically until the date/time as stated above. For questions relating to the electronic bidding process call Central Bidding: 255.810.4814. Electronic submittal of bids is not required.
A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid will be required. The bid bond or certified check will be returned immediately to unsuccessful bidders. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposals will not be considered in making the award.
A performance bond, or equal, in the full amount of the contract will be required of the successful bidder. In lieu of a performance bond the successful bidder may post with Pearl River Community College the full amount of the bid, in cash or its equivalent, conditioned for the prompt, proper and efficient performance of the contract; said cash or its equivalent to be held until the successful completion of the project.
Attention is called to the fact that contracts exceeding $50,000 require contractors to be licensed under applicable laws of the State of Mississippi and have a certificate of responsibility.
Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

Pearl River Community College reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.
