Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Wes Johnson WRP Enhancement project in Sharkey County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the site.  From the intersection of Hwy. 61 and I-20 at Vicksburg go north on Hwy. 61 for 24 miles to Omega Road.  Turn right and go north on Omega Road for 1.7 miles to the site on the east side of Omega Road. (North 32.69369° and West 90.87892°)  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of excavating swales, constructing new levees, installation of steel pipes and water control structures and installing structural spillways.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
