NEW TAXIWAY CONSTRUCTION
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
 
Sealed bids subject to the conditions and provisions presented herein will be received by the City of Picayune – City’s Clerk’s Office, until Thursday, May 31, 2018, 10:00 AM, and then publicly opened and read at City of Picayune - City Hall Council Chambers, 203 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, Mississippi, 39466 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete the following project:  City of Picayune Airport Improvements Project, Project No. 3-26-0060-020-2018, New Taxiway Construction.
 
Copies of the bid documents including project drawings and technical specifications are on file and may be inspected at:

A complete set of bid documents may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P.A. for a fee of $250.00 (Non-refundable).
 
A pre-bid conference for this project will be held at the office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, Mississippi, 39466 on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
 
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid.  The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to
City of Picayune.
 
Bids may be held by the City of Picayune for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
 
The right is reserved, as the City of Picayune may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
 
This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor.
 
Award of contract is also subject to the following Federal provisions:
