Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Mahannah WMA – Hog Bayou Structures project in Issaquena County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:
 
August 10h at 9:30 AM
  
We will meet at the site, which is on the main road just over the levee, approximately 1.5 miles past the headquarters.  The address for the Mahannah WMA Headquarters is 1370 Anderson-Tully Road.  (North 32.548697° and West 90.871571°)  
 
Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of constructing a temporary detour road, installing a cofferdam, removing two existing pipe culverts, installing two new pipe culverts, backfilling around pipe culverts, placing rock riprap, placing crushed rock surfacing, removal of crushed rock surfacing, removal of temporary detour road, seeding disturbed areas.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
