St. Martin Parish Government, at a Special Bid Opening Meeting, in the Carroll J. Fuselier Parish Council Meeting Room, at
the Courthouse Annex Building, 301 West Port Street, St. Martinville, LA 70582, until 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017, for:

and the bids will be opened and read aloud at that time (LA R.S. §38:2214). Bids received after the specified time will not be
considered.

BASE BID: The Work will Principally Involve the Placement of 23-Cubic Yards of Concrete
within a Cofferdam to Extend Downslope of an Existing Boat Ramp as well as the Construction
of 3,500-Square Yards of Asphaltic Access Drives and 5,100-Square Yards of Aggregate-Surfaced
Parking Areas, Approximately 440-Tons of Asphaltic Concrete, 865-Cubic Yards of Crushed
Stone Base, and 780-Cubic Yards of Aggregate Surfacing will be Required. ALTERNATE BID
NO. 1: The Work will be Essentially the Same as the Base Bid with the Exception That
1,720-Square Yards of Aggregate Parking Area will be Changed to Asphaltic Pavements. The
Basic Quantities will then Total Approximately 670-Tons of Asphaltic Concrete, 1,300-Cubic
Yards of Crushed Stone Base, and 500-Cubic Yards of Aggregate Surfacing.

A Voluntary Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the Carroll
J. Fuselier Parish Council Meeting Room at the Courthouse Annex Building, 301 West Port
Street, St. Martinville, LA 70582 (LA R.S. §38:2212).
