Sealed proposals will be received by Hospital Service District #1, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana dba Lane Regional Medical Center at Support Services Building (located behind the hospital) 6300 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70791 until 2:30pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021 for the following:
Bids may also be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com.

At precisely 2:30 p.m. on the above date, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Support Services Conference room. Any person requiring special accommodations shall notify the Architect of the type of accommodations required not less than seven (7) days before the bid opening.

Bid proposals, amendments to bid, or requests for withdrawal of bids received after time specified for bid openings shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present. No other information or tabulations will be available until awards are made after all bids are fully checked for responsiveness and accuracy.

BIDDER MUST SHOW SUFFICIENT REFERENCE TO IDENTIFY BIDS WITH OPENING DATE ON FACE OF SEALED ENVELOPE including LA Contractor's license number. Note that electronic bids will also be required to furnish all of the same information included here for bids received on site.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of the security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the bid documents for this project.

The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the instructions to Bidders included in the bid documents for this project.

Copies: Complete Bidding Documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from www.aeplans.com. Printed copies are not available from the Architect but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms and/or plan rooms. When the designer of record issues bid documents in electronic form, prime bidders shall be given the option of receiving the documents in paper form in accordance with LARS 38:2212 A (i) (e). Reproduction cost on the first paper plan set acquired by bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded by the design professional upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of the bids with receipt for printing cost. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the job site at 11:30 noon on Friday, June 11, 2021. Meet at rear entrance to suite A -currently vacant. Bidders are advised that they will be required to state on the bid form that they have personally inspected and are familiar with the project site.

Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section; and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.
