Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the White Oak Creek – Impoundment Repairs Project.  We are having a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 24th 2022. We will meet at the White Oak Creek Office located at 33948 HWY 77 Omaha, TX 75571.
 
The base bid on this project generally consists of the supply and installation of 6,400 C.Y.-P Spillway and Breach Excavation, 4,000 C.Y.-P Spillway and Breach Embankment, two 5’x5’ Flashboard Risers with two 36” pipes, and 13,500 of tied concrete block mat armoring located on White Oak Creek WMA near the intersection of Mill Creek and Sulphur River. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, water control, pollution control, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The mandatory Additive Bid Alternate #1 generally consists of the clearing and reseeding of 6.9 acres for priority 1 clearing and 6.4 acres for priority 2. This work shall also include performing the necessary site prep, water control, pollution control, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Contract completion time is 120 calendar days.
