Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners (Owner), of Jackson County, Florida until 2:00 p.m. CST on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the office of Jackson County Administration, located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448, for the road improvement project located on Willis Road.
 
Description of Work: The scope of work includes the paving or resurfacing of Willis Road, from Kimbell Road to Highway 71, to be completed using the method which is identified in the related bid documents. Roads included in this project are:

Willis Road (26173’ x 20’)

Bids will be opened and recorded at 2:00 PM (or shortly thereafter) on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Jackson County Board of County Commissioners Office at 2864 Madison Street. Sealed bids can be received at the above address, or electronically via www.centralbidding.com.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.  Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. Bidders must be Pre-approved by FDOT or Jackson County and in good standing with FDOT and the County. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. To the extent applicable to this project, attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of the Special Provisions, conditions of employment to be observed, and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract (if applicable), Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109 Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Florida, and bonding and insurance requirements.
