City of Flowood
 
SEALED proposals will be received by the City of Flowood at the City Hall, 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232 or electronic bids submitted via www.centralbidding.com until 10:30 AM, local time, March 23, 2023 at which time and place, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.
 
A pre-bid meeting shall be held on March 9, 2023 at 8:30 AM, local time at City Hall, 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232. Sites will be visited following the pre-bid meeting. Bidders are encouraged to attend.  
 
The work shall consist of the construction to upgrade the City’s existing SCADA system for water and wastewater controls to a non-proprietary, open-source SCADA system.
 
Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and other Bidding Documents are available for download or in hard copy format from www.centralbidding.com or for public viewing at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, LLC, 1700 West Government Street, Building "A", Suite "J", Brandon, Mississippi. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents.
