To Obtain Bidding Documents:
 
Licensed General Contractors or their agent may obtain one (1) set of the complete bidding documents from Rozas-Ward Architects, 1100 Poydras St., Ste. 3550, New Orleans, LA 70163.  Contractors shall call ahead at (504) 524-4375 to coordinate pick-up.
 
Alternatively, bidding documents may be accessed through a uniform and secure electronic interactive system:  www.centralbidding.com.
 
To attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: 
 
Please call Rozas-Ward Architects at (504) 524-4375, reference the Project Title, and provide an email address to which we will send information to access a Webex video conference.  The pre-bid conference will be held by video conference only, on Monday, February 21, 2022 starting at 3:00 p.m., c.s.t.  Please note that attendees joining the meeting later than 3:05 p.m., c.s.t. will not be granted admittance to the meeting.  Attendees may join the meeting as early as 2:45 p.m., c.s.t.  Bids received from Contractors who did not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, or remain for the duration of the conference, will not be considered.
 
To schedule a site visit: 
 
After attending the pre-bid conference as a prerequisite, the project site will be available Tuesday, February 22, 2022 through Thursday, February 24, 2022 for Contractors to visit separately, and by scheduling in advance with Brian Chaix, St. Charles Parish Hospital Facilities Manager, via email:  [email protected].
 
To submit a Bid: 
 
Bids shall be delivered by the bidder or its agent (a written receipt shall be handed to the deliverer), or sent by registered or certified mail (with return receipt request) to the following address:  Rozas-Ward Architects, Attn:  Philip Goldberg, 1100 Poydras St., Ste. 3550, New Orleans, LA 70163
 
Alternatively, contractors are provided the option to submit bid for public contracts through a uniform and secure electronic interactive system:  www.centralbidding.com.  Comply with electronic bidding as stated in the Louisiana Bid Law 2212.1.
 
Each bid must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond made payable to St. Charles Parish Hospital and acceptable to the owner in the amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount bid, including all alternates, and payable without condition to the owner as guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in accordance with his/her proposal and all terms and conditions of the contract documents. A bid bond shall comply with LSA-R.S. 38:2218(B) and 38:2219, as applicable.
 
Bids received in violation of LSA-R.S. 37:2163 (failure to provide contractor’s license number on the bid envelope) shall be stamped “Rejected”, returned unopened to the bidder, and shall not be read aloud. 
 
Sealed bids must have project title boldly displayed on outside of envelope.
 
Bids received after 3:00p.m., c.s.t. on Monday, March 7, 2022 will be considered late, and will not be accepted.
 
To attend the Bid Opening: 
 
Rozas-Ward Architects will send information to access a Webex video conference to the same email address provided for the pre-bid conference.  The bid opening will be held via Webex video conferencing only, on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m., c.s.t.  Please note that attendees joining the meeting later than 3:05 p.m., c.s.t. will not be granted admittance to the meeting.  Attendees may join the meeting as early as 2:45 p.m., c.s.t.
