Demolition of Laundry Building at the Marion County BusinessPlex

Sealed bids for the demolition of the laundry building at the Marion County BusinessPlex and the sale of surplus property arising from the demolition will be received by the Marion County Board of Supervisors until 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the offices of the Marion County Board of Supervisors located at 215 Broad Street, Columbia, MS  39429 and shortly thereafter will be opened and publicly read.
 
The work involved in the project includes demolition of the existing 2,183 sq.ft laundry facility and associated items of work and the sale of surplus personal property, including, but not limited to fixtures and scrap metal arising from the demolition as described in the project Construction Drawings and Contract Documents.  All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P. A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, (601) 731-2600.
 
Bidders choosing to submit electronically are required to contact the Marion County Board of Supervisors at 601-736-1232 for information regarding electronic bidding requirements.
 
Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents.  The Marion County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.
