Sealed bids will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until March 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
Purchase of Early Learning Center
Infant & Toddler Furniture and Learning Materials
 
Statement of Work: Purchase of New Infant &Toddler Furniture and Other Learning Materials.
 
This is all or none bid. The bid award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to result in the lowest total cost to the Parish of Ascension. Each bidder is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of its bid.
 
All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file at the Ascension Parish Purchasing Department, 615. E. Worthey Road, Gonzales, LA 70737.
 
Pricing to be submitted on the unit price form unless noted otherwise.
 
The quantities listed are estimates; we reserve the right to adjust these quantities as needed.
 
Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with shipment, delivery, delivery delays, temporary storage and any other costs associated with fulfillment of solicitation.

Wherever a public entity specifies the name of a certain brand, make, manufacturer, or uses a definite specification, the bidding documents shall clearly that they are used to denote the quality stand of product desired and that they do not restrict bidders to brand, make, manufacturer, or specification named; that they are used only to set forth and convey to prospective bidders the general style, type , character, and quality of product desired; and that equivalent products may be acceptable.
 
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any bid, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
 
 
The Ascension Parish shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet.
 
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
