SECTION 00020 ? ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Either sealed paper bids or electronic bids for the construction of the Waterline Relocation & Bayou Crossing, which generally consists of the installation of a 12” water main crossing below Bayou Lafourche and a 12” water main paralleling  Hwy. 1 along with other related items, will be received by The Board of Waterworks Commissioners of Lafourche Parish Water District No. 1 at the General Manager's Office, Water District Office located at Lockport, Louisiana 70374 until  2:00 P.M. local time, February 4, 2021, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.  Electronic bids must be submitted through http://www.centralbidding.com prior to the electronic bidding deadline.
 
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for January 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. and will be held at the office of Picciola & Associates, Inc., located at 115 Picciola Parkway, Cut Off, LA.
 
No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds Louisiana State Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. Louisiana R.S. 37:2151?63.
 
The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Attestation Clause & Affidavit, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, General Requirements, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations:

Bidding Documents and Contract Documents (including but not limited to plans, specifications, and bid forms) can be obtained at the office of Picciola & Associates, Inc., the Engineer. The purchase price for each set of documents is $20.00 and is non-refundable.  Partial sets of documents will not be issued.
