The St. Landry Parish Sheriff will be accepting bids on computer software and hardware for Civil Suit Management System configured to meet the needs of the sheriff's department current civil section. Detailed specification sheet can be requested by email at

SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS: Bidder must state brand names and attach complete specifications illustrating and describing items quoted. Such specifications and circulars shall be considered a part of this proposal. The bidder must state the price (written in ink or typewritten) for all goods and services, which are required by the specifications. The proposal must be signed in ink. The proposal must be hand delivered by bidder or his agent or mailed by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested to St Landry Parish Sheriff Civil Division, 118 S. Court St, Suite 121, Opelousas, LA 70570 before Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at which time bids will be opened and publicly read. The proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked on the front "Civil Suit Management System", before the time set for receiving proposals. . Proposals received after the time set will be returned to the bidder unopened.
NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ALL PAPERS ARE ATTACHED, SUCH AS A PROPOSAL SHEET, THE INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, AND ANY CIRCULARS OR OTHER MATERIALS NECESSARY IN COMPLETELY DESCRIBING ITEMS QUOTED.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Where these bid documents denote definite specifications, it shall be understood that this is for the purpose of conveying the quality standard of products desired, including the general style, type, character, and quality. The Sheriff reserves the right to determine, whether products proposed are acceptable.
FINANCING: Include available finance plans with bid.
DELIVERY: Delivery must be provided within 60 days of acceptance.
The St. Landry Sheriff reserves the right to accept the best and lowest bid commensurate with the overall quality of the hardware and software combined to produce what it considers to be in the best interest of all functions affected by the system.
