Description of Basic Work: The Contract work generally consists of furnishing and install a new
36” pump and 36” discharge / carrier pipe within an existing 48” concrete casing pipe through a
railroad embankment (to remain in place), complete with motor, VFD drive, and all connections
and controls; furnishing and installing a new 350kW generator and electrical work associated with
the new pump; placement of riprap; and removal and disposal of existing 24” pump, 24” discharge
pipe and electrical components.
