The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, and materials for performing all work required to install the canal erosion mitigation measures as provided in the Contract Documents within the Orleans Avenue Canal. The mitigation measures include a stone-filled cellular confinement system with geotextile fabric and riprap.

Bidders are invited to attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020, in the Conference Room located in Franklin Avenue Administration Building at 6920 Franklin Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. Bids shall be accepted only from those bidders who attend the Pre- Bid Conference in its entirety. A jobsite visit will be conducted by Orleans Levee District immediately after the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. Participation in the jobsite visit is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. The visit will facilitate access to project features that may not otherwise be accessible to prospective bidders.
