Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the White River NWR located in Phillips County, Arkansas. We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on April 8th at 9:30 AM.
 
We will meet on site.  We will meet at the intersection of County Road 518 and County Road 549 in Mellwood, AR (North 36°13’29.60” and West 91°03’41.65”).  The intersection is approximately 6.9 miles west of Mellwood, Arkansas on County Road 518.  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.

The work on this project consists of the restoration and enhancement on the existing green timber reservoir of the White River NWR – Levee Unit.  The work in the base bid consist of sheet pile water control structure installation, embankment, rip rap, and all other items shown on the plans and in the technical specifications.  The work included in the alternative bid for this project consist of full round riser water control structure installation.

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
