Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Westby in Highlands County, Florida. We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the Hwy 70 gate at 27°12'32.3"N 81°25'42.2"W; from Okeechobee, take Hwy 70 west for 38 miles, gate will be on the north side of Hwy 70.

     Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory to submit a bid on this project.

A summary of quantities is shown below and is subject to change prior to release of bid documents:

Remove 31 existing pipes/wcs, 8 ditch blocks, 10,790 lf of land smoothing, 34,082 linear feet of new dike; 165 lf corrugated aluminum pipe, One (1) dike breach, Three (3) water control structures and Three (3) articulated block weirs; This work shall also include performing the necessary fencing, gates, fill, necessary excavation, necessary site preparation, and other items outlined in the plans or associated with construction the project according to the plans and construction specifications.
