Bids are invited for the furnishing of materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing wet well and valve vault and install a new 12’ diameter (O.D.) wet well and valve vault inclusive of new 1,000 gallon per minute recessed impeller pumps, controls, and SCADA for the Fleitas Avenue Pump Station. An additive alternate is provided for elevating the controls by constructing a concrete platform 3 feet above existing ground. A second additive alternate is provided for elevating controls above the BFE by constructing a structural steel platform including a standby generator, ATS, and subbase fuel tank; A third additive alternate is provided for installing an interior protective coating inside the new wet well. The work may require constructing a cofferdam for the wet well installation, bypass pumping and dewatering as required to complete the work.
