REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
The Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District (TLCD) in Houma, Louisiana is requesting quotations from
qualified contractors for the project referenced below. This is an emergency project. Qualified contractors

Lower Dularge West Levee Emergency Rehabilitation
Work Description:
Contractors are requested to provide price quotations for the scope of work provided in this document. All work
shall be performed in accordance with the specifications included in this package. Upon award of the project to the
selected Contractor, a formal Construction Contract will be issued for the project which will contain the
performance criteria listed in this package.
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate an existing levee section to a 9.0' Elevation. In June 2024 the Owner
declared a state of emergency with need for this levee work to be performed.
The selected contractor shall supply all equipment and labor for excavation, processing, delivery and placement of
borrow material and shall properly maintain all access routes. This project also includes seeding and fertilization of
levee. All earthen material shall be contractor supplied, delivered, and installed along the entire length of the levee.
One (1) hard copy of the proposal package will be made available for pickup at the office of the
Engineer upon request, at no cost. Digital copies of the package will also be available, to qualified bidders that
register with the Engineer, at no cost.
All quotes will be received on Monday July 15, 2024. All quotes must be submitted either electronically or be
delivered to the office of the Engineer at 107 West Woodlawn Ranch Road Houma, LA 70363, on or before 10:00
A.M., on July 15, 2024. Quotations may also be submitted by email to the Engineer, at
[email protected]or may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com. To view these, download, and receive bid notices by
e-mail, you must register with Central Auction House (CAH). Vendors/Contractors have the option to submit their

Quotations must be submitted on the forms furnished with the proposal documents and will only be accepted by
qualified contractors that hold the appropriate license.
There will be a non-mandatory prebid conference at the project site, on Monday July 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The
Meeting shall begin at the gravel parking area, located across the highway from the temporary bridge just south of
Brady Road.
Contractors must hold either a Class II Highway, Street and Bridge Construction license, or a Class III Heavy
Construction license.
