ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRestoration / Repairs to Monroe County Government Complex Building in Amory, MSSealed bids or electronic bids will be received by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MONROE COUNTY at the Monroe County Chancery Building, 201 West Commerce Street, Aberdeen, Mississippi, not later than Friday, September 8, 2023 AT 9:00 A.M. for RESTORATION / REPAIRS TO THE MONROE COUNTY GOVERNMENT COMPLEX BUILDING, AMORY, MISSISSIPPI, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
The proposed work will be awarded in a lump-sum proposal in accordance to the various proposition.

It is highly recommended that bidders tour the facility to observe the necessary work prior to preparing bid. Contact Bob Prisock at [email protected] to arrange a time to view the facility.Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified.
All bids submitted must comply with Chapter 31, Section 3 of the Mississippi Code enact 1972. Proposal envelopes must be clearly marked “RESTORATION/REPAIRS TO MONROE COUNTY GOVERNMENT COMPLEX Proposal to be opened September 8, 2023".
The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding.
