Project Description: The District is a regulatory agency established to protect the water quality and supply of all, or part of, 18 counties of the State of Florida comprising the St. Johns River Basin and associated coastal waters. The District's facilities include the District Headquarters (DHQ) located in Palatka, FL, two (2) service centers (SC), and six (6) field stations (FS). The District has approximately 550 employees, most of whom are stationed in DHQ. The sites include office space, meeting rooms, and associated support spaces totaling 210,845 square feet (site locations and square footage of each location provided below).
The District seeks to provide a clean and safe work environment for its employees, guests, and service providers. To achieve this goal, the District is soliciting janitorial services via a third-party service provider. The estimated budget is $779,166 total for all or part of three fiscal years: FY24-25 (December 26, 2024 – September 30, 2025): $229,166; FY25-26 (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026): $275,000; and FY26-27 (October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027): $275,000. The award Agreement will include the option to renew the Agreement for two, 12-month terms (October 1, 2027 – September 30, 2028, and October 1, 2028 – September 30, 2029).
MANDATORY IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE
A Mandatory In-Person Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for November 6, 2024, at
10:00 a.m., at District Headquarters, 4049 Reid Street, Palatka FL 32177.
The purpose of the pre-proposal conference is to allow potential Respondents an
opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification on the requirements of
the proposal documents. Participation is required to be eligible to respond to this
solicitation. Minutes of the conference will not be created.
