The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office requests proposals from qualified individuals and firms with experience in providing a Grievance, Commissary, and Tablet Management System. 
           
The successful responder shall provide all software, system engineering, training manuals, training aids, materials maintenance, maintenance manuals, labor, and all things necessary to provide, install, implement, interface, and maintain the software and electronics to operate an automated Grievance, Commissary, and Tablet Management System that enables users to manage and perform all of the comprehensive activities delineated in this RFP.

Please note that this RFP has been updated to include visit, mail, and telephones for a complete title of:  Grievance, Commissary, Visit, Mail, Telephones, and Tablet Proposals.

Page 4 of 11 in Word document states: Background of the Detention Center The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office is comprised of approximately 650 staff who operate two inmate housing facilities with an average daily total population of 1700 offenders. The current software utilized in house is the AS400 system. Information has been maintained on that system since 1980 and must be migrated to the new software. Question: what specific information maintained on the AS400 is expected to be migrated? For Grievances? For Commissary? Grievances tab questions: Item 42 – Please provide examples of the business process and levels of recommendations and review. Item 45 – Please provide details surrounding alerting grievance staff via email if they have not accessed the system in two (2) or more days. For instance, are weekends counted? Holidays? Regarding Administrative Telephone System 1. Number of Administrative VoIP telephone sets? a. Existing? b. New? 2. For New telephone sets, will there be existing ethernet cables and jacks in place to support the new sets? If no, do you require the vendor to cable these locations and to install all hardware? 3. Are headsets required? If yes, how many? Wired or wireless 4. Will the network in place support two ethernet ports for a PC and VoIP telephone set or do you require VoIP telephones to be capable of plugging computers into the bottom of the phone? 5. What are the required customizable feature buttons per telephone set? Please list the number of sets per customizable buttons. 6. Do you require these buttons to scroll through more than one level of functionality? If yes, how many levels are desired? 7. Do you require end users to self-administer their account and configure their handset and feature buttons using a web browser? 8. When we click on the link provided, it re-routes to a Louisiana State Licensing Board page for construction contractors.
