If not we cant remove the pile caps they are under these structures. Also, is the roof of the loading dock structural connected to the kitchen building? at site visit we were not able to go in this area for close viewing. Please advise

My question #6 is referring to column line A

Can a contractor licensed under demolishing work bid this project. You have it listed on the bid package that the contractor should be licensed in for Building Construction. Please clarify.
What is the requirement for the site after the demolition is complete? Is it going to be green space? Is the site required to be sodded and if so, what is the specification for the sod?
Are you requesting and alternate to make a parking lot on the site? If so where are the requirements for the parking lot?
On drawing G0.01 it states that Alternate No 1: Work Includes the creation of a fenced parking Lot. What are the specs that you are requesting for the parking lot to be built to? Do you
want an asphalt parking lot, concrete parking lot, gravel parking lot and do you want the entire area to be included in the parking lot area? I then assume you want the entire area to be
fenced with entry gates as well. Please clarify.
Then on that same drawing it states: Alternate No 2: Work includes a green space. Do you have any specs on this green space area you are requesting? Is the sodding that is mentioned
in the scope of work to be included in this green space or is the sodding to be figured in the base bid no matter if a green space alternate is accepted or not? I then assume if an alternate
is submitted for a fenced in parking lot, the sodding number should be considered as a credit out of the base bid and the cost of the parking lot then will take the place of that scope if it is
accepted.
Are you going to post any further addendums to the project that may include this additional information along with the sign in sheet form the pre bid?
It's been a week, where is the addendum?
Please provide a response to the following questions/concerns regarding the Subject Project.
1) Dwg. C-100 states “site to be covered with sod” I assume this is part of the Base Bid.
2) Alternate No.2 states “work includes a green space”. Wouldn’t the sodding of the site in the Base Bid constitute a green space? Is the sodding part of the Base Bid or is it an
Alternate?
3) Under Section 024116 Structure Demolition Part 3 section 3.1 Demolition Contractor A.2 states “Demolition Contractor must have been certified for lead paint abatement by the EPA
or the City of New Orleans and must follow EPA and city of New Orleans guidelines for removal and disposal of lead based materials.” There is no confirmation of the existence of lead
paint in the proposed building to be demolished. This appears to be a moot requirement. We formally request this requirement be dropped from the specifications.
4) Under Section 024116 Structure Demolition Part 3 section 3.1 Demolition Contractor A.3 states “Demolition Contractor must be certified in the removal of asbestos and material
containing asbestos.” Since all samples tested by the Designer have been deemed ND (None Detected) (free from the presence of asbestos) this appears to be a moot requirement. We
formally request this requirement be dropped from the specifications.
5) Please provide guidelines/ specifications for Alternates No. 1 and No.2. Concrete / Asphalt with thickness, and type of sod for green space. This would be good for starters.
6) Under Section 012300 Alternates Part 3 Execution 3.1 states “SCHEDULE OF ALTERNATES (Not Used). “ The Bid Documents require pricing for Alternates No. 1 and No.2
7) Addendum No. 1 Under QUESTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS: 1.a states “The SLDBE Commitment Form must be provided (by all bidders) no later than noon, Tuesday June 17,
2018… June 17, 2018 is a Sunday not a Tuesday. Please provide the correct submission date and time.

Your timely response to the aforementioned issues will be greatly appreciated.

Clarification needed for Section 9.1 of Instructions to bidders, page 12. Statement - "Bonds shall remain in force for one (5) year after completion and acceptance of the work by the Owner."
Please clarify which is correct: one year or five years. Thanks.
Can you please give us an idea as to when the questions that have been submitted will be answered? The bid date is again fast approaching.
So are we going to get any clarifications on the proposed questions before the bid date? Just saying? We are now 10 days out with 2 weekends and a holiday out. Seems a little
ridiculous.
Just to be clear, is everyone supposed to price the backfill based on a 14' level site grade after the demolition is complete and then bring it up to the grades as it is set forth on the drawing
included in Addendum #5 put out yesterday. I am taking it that the grades on the new drawing will be mandatory elevations at completion. Is that correct?
In reference to your question this morning, SSCommercial. Please follow the Addendum Number 5 that was posted on Monday (7/9) for final grades and elevations.
