Sealed bids will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until November 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
  
All signs must meet specifications according to the latest edition of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, in addition to design specifications developed by FHWA in the latest edition of the Standard Highway Signs publication.  Until the latest publication includes new D3-1 Signs, the 2004 Edition and 2012 Supplement of Standard Highway Signs shall control.  The Parish reserves the right to reject any and all signs that do not conform to the specification of either document.  Signs rejected by the Parish for cause will be at no cost to the Parish. 
 
Signs must be bid with 3M High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting.  All specifications must be adhered to, no variances will be accepted.
 
All signs, materials, and supplies must be delivered no later than ten (10) calendar days from date of order. (No Exceptions)
 
Freight charges, if applicable, should be included in the total cost of unit price when bidding.  Bids may be rejected if not quoted FOB delivered.
 
The Parish reserves the right to pick up the material from the vendor.  The material is to be produced and ready for pickup within five (5) calendar days from the date of the order. 
 
Signs will be ordered as needed. Quantities are estimated quantities.
 
This is an all or none bid.  The bid award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to result in the lowest total cost to the Parish of Ascension.  Each bidder is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of its bid.
 
The bid shall be valid for one (1) year.
 
Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department located at 615 E. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any bid, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
 
The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet.
 
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
