Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Atchafalaya Delta Crevasse Project Phase III.  We will not have a pre-bid meeting and site showing for interested contractors from our bidders list. See the Special Provisions for an access permit to investigate the crevasse areas. Contractors will have to bring their own boats to access the crevasse sites. Airboats or other Shallow Water Boats may be necessary to reach all areas.
 
The work on this project consists of excavating and creating 5,075 LF of crevasses, or open channels.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans.  Contract completion time is 90 calendar days. Bids shall be submitted online through Central Bidding by 12:00 P.M. CST on June 16, 2023. Anticipated Notice to Proceed timeframe is beginning of July, and must be completed by September 2023 prior to Teal Hunting Season.
