ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
BID PROPOSAL NO. 20-008
 
Sealed bids will be received until the hour of 10:00 A.M. CST on March 2, 2020, at Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, located at 3616 South I-10 Service Road West, Suite 200, Metairie, LA 70001, attention Majied Harris, and publicly opened upon completion of administrative tasks for the following:
Renovations at Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority at 5001 West bank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072
 
 The project work consists of interior administrative office suite renovations within an existing office building as described in the Construction Documents.
 
All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file with the Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority Finance Operations Office, 3616 South I-10 Service Road West, Suite 200, Metairie, LA 70001.  All bidders must show the Bid Proposal Number and Contractor’s License Number on the outside of their bid envelope and on the bid proposal.  Late bids will not be accepted.
 
Each Bid must be accompanied by certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond acceptable to the owner in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, and payable without condition to the owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in accordance with his proposal and all terms and conditions of the contract documents.
 
The drawings and specifications are on file and open for inspection in the Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority Facilities Maintenance Office, 3616 South I-10 Service Road West, Suite 200, Metairie, LA 70001 (Phone 504-578-1560).  A complete set of Contract Documents may be secured by contacting William Petersen at Sizeler, Thompson, Brown Architects (Phone 504-523-6472).
 
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract.  Companies providing the bonds shall comply with the requirements of LRS-R.S. 38:2218 and R.S. 38:2219 as applicable.
 
JPHSA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and waive informalities, pursuant to the law.  This is an all or none bid.
 
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. CST on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, located at 5001 West Bank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072.  All interested parties are invited to attend.  
                                      
Contractors arriving after 10:00 A.M. CST will not be admitted into the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. Contractors who do not attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference are not eligible to submit proposals.
