REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
 
Separate and sealed proposals or electronic proposals for the construction of
EVAPORATOR RESIDUAL BUILDING, will be received by the THREE RIVERS
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY, until 10:00 A.M., LOCAL TIME,
on WEDNESDAY THE 17TH DAY OF APRIL 2024. Sealed proposals will be
received until the designated date and time at the THREE RIVERS PLANNING
and DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, 75 SOUTH MAIN STREET, PONTOTOC, MS
38863.
 
The project consists of the following:
 
Construction of a pre-engineered metal building, and integration with the
existing evaporator building. A concrete driveway/ turnout is included as an
additive alternate item.
 
A Pre-Proposal Conference to discuss the plans, specifications, and contract.
requirements will be held at 10:00 A.M., on the 3rd DAY OF APRIL 2024 at
the THREE RIVERS PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, 75 SOUTH
MAIN STREET, PONTOTOC, MS 38863.
 
The Pre-Proposal Conference is not mandatory, but Contractors and Suppliers are encouraged to attend.
 
The proposal documents may be examined at the following location: THREE
RIVERS PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, 75 SOUTH MAIN STREET,
PONTOTOC, MS 38863.

No Proposer may withdraw his proposal within 90 days after the actual date of the
opening thereof.
 
Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish
surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Proposers.
All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having
jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.
Each Proposer is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any
Proposer to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Proposer from any
obligation in respect to this Proposal.
 
A conditional or qualified Proposal will not be accepted. Award will be made to the
lowest responsible, responsive Proposer of the Total Base Proposal.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Proposals.
All proposals submitted in response to this Request for Proposals are “competitive
sealed proposals” in accordance with Miss. Code Section 25-61-5 (2017).
