Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the project named below by the City of Horn Lake, until 2:00 P.M. local time on September 15th, 2020 and thereafter will be opened and read aloud publicly @ 2:15 P.M. local time.

RFP documents are posted on http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. To view these, download, and receive bid/RFP notices by e-mail, you must register with Central Bidding. Vendors/Contractors have the option to submit their bids/RFP’s electronically or by paper copy. For information about the electronic submittal process, contact Finley Ward with Central Bidding at 225.810.4814.
 
Bids shall be either hand delivered or mailed to the owner, or submitted electronically with Central Bidding.  No bid received after the scheduled time for opening will be considered. 
 
In lieu of a deposit, drawings may be inspected at and purchased from Memphis Reprographics, located at 6178 Macon Rd, Memphis, TN 38134 (phone no. 901.590.4862) www.memphisreprographics.com .
 
a.         Qualified Prime (General) Contractors, Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers may download or purchase hard copies or the set(s) of plans and specifications upon request and payment from Memphis Reprographics.  Any questions or issues contact Memphis Reprographics.
 
b.         General Contractor Plan holders should register with Memphis Reprographics to be added to the Prime Contractors list.  In order to be added to Prime Contractors list, you must register a free account with Memphis Reprographics.  Plan holder information will be made public.
 
c.         Partial Sets will not be issued.
 
d.         As a courtesy, copies of plans and specifications will be placed in plans rooms in major cities within the area, locally, and elsewhere as bona-fide requests are received.
 
Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post Performance Bond in the form and amount within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner.
 
Bids on the Project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the project and no bid withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the project for a period of forty-five (45) days.
 
All bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 shall contain on the outside or exterior of the envelope or container of such bid, the contractor’s Certificate of Responsibility number issued by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors.
 
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
 
There will be an advised pre-bid conference for this project on August 27th, 2020 at 10:00 am at Horn Lake City Hall board room located at
