Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project Fakahatchee Strand State Preserver, Dan House Prairie Restoration located in Collier County, FL:

   January 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.

Directions from Miami Florida: Take US Highway 41 west for approximately 70 miles. At Carnestown take a right onto State Road 29 (SR-29). Follow SR-29 for 3 miles, take a left onto Janes Scenic Drive and continue 0.3 miles until you reach the first right turn. Take another immediate right turn to remain on Janes Scenic Drive and continue 0.5 miles. Take a right turn onto Coast Line Drive and another immediate right turn to remain on Coast Line Drive and approach the Preserve Park Office/Ranger Station on the left. The office and ranger station will be the meeting point.

A summary of quantities is shown below and is subject to change prior to release of bid documents:
17,037 LF of land smoothing, 18,982 LF of berm removal, Seven (7) ditch blocks, and associated sediment and erosion control measures to help restore natural hydrology to Dan House Prairie.
