NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, 203 E. Plaquemine Street, Jennings, Louisiana until ten (10:00) o’clock a.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at which time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read for the following:
25-28 PARISH-WIDE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF REFUSE
Detailed bid specifications and bid forms for the above may be obtained by calling, emailing or writing to Christin LeGros, Director of Finance, Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, P. O. Box 640, Jennings, Louisiana 70546, (337) 824-1834,
[email protected]. The contract to be awarded will be for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2028.
If submitting in person or by mail bids and required certification documentation must be sealed and the envelope marked: “Parish-Wide Collection and Disposal of Refuse, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 @ 10:00 a.m.”
The Jefferson Davis Parish School Board wishes to enter into a contract with one vendor, if possible, for the collection and disposal of refuse for all locations within the school system according to the specifications described within the bid documents.
In accordance with Act 590 of the 2008 Legislature, the bid documents can also be viewed online and bids can also be submitted online at:

All bids should be submitted online via the Central Bidding website or mailed or delivered to Christin LeGros, Director of Finance, Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, 203 E. Plaquemine Street, P. O. Box 640, Jennings, Louisiana 70546 by Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Bids received after that date and time will not be considered.
The Jefferson Davis Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotations and/or to waive any informalities incident thereto.
