Sealed bids will be received by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MONROE COUNTY at the Office of the Monroe County Chancery Clerk, Aberdeen, Mississippi, not later than FRIDAY, JULY 6, 2018 AT 9:00 A.M. for CHILLER REPLACEMENT AND CONTROLS PROGRAMMING FOR THE MONROE COUNTY CHANCERY BUILDING, ABERDEEN, MISSISSIPPI, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

The proposed work will be awarded in a lump-sum proposal in accordance to the various proposition.

Copies of said plans and specifications my be obtained from BOB PRISOCK, MONROE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR, P.O. BOX 578, ABERDEEN, MISSISSIPPI 39730 OR 201 WEST COMMERCE STREET, ABERDEEN, MISSISSIPPI (662)-661-4017, or official bid documents can be downloaded from CENTRAL BIDDING at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.

Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified.

All bids submitted must comply with Chapter 31, Section 3 of the Mississippi Code enact 1972.  Proposal envelopes must be clearly marked "Chiller Replacement and Controls Programming Proposal to be opened July 6, 2018".

The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding.
