SECTION 00001 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 00001-1 Marion County Board of Supervisors Demolition of Multiple Structures at the Marion County BusinessPlex Marion County, Mississippi Sealed bids for the demolition of multiple structures at the Marion County BusinessPlex and the sale of surplus property arising from the demolition will be received by the Marion County Board of Supervisors until 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the offices of the Marion County Board of Supervisors located at 215 Broad Street, Columbia, MS 39429 and shortly thereafter will be opened and publicly read. The work involved in the project includes demolition of the existing 10,391 sq.ft. gynasium, 2,183 sq.ft laundry facility, Brown home, Wash home, and Lampton home and associated items of work and the sale of surplus personal property, including, but not limited to fixtures and scrap metal arising from the demolition as described in the project Construction Drawings and Contract Documents. All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P. A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, (601) 731-2600. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required at the time of request for Construction Drawings and Contract Documents. A copy of the Contract Drawings and Documents may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering, P. A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429. Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents.
