The City of Pine Bluff’s Economic & Community Development Department will accept sealed bids to build 3 single family houses and 2 duplexes The City of Pine Bluff encourages participation by minority and female owned and operated business and local firms. The does not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, creed, color national origin, familiar status or handicap. 
 
The bid documents are available for viewing by appointment only at the office of Economic and Community Development located 716 S. Georgia St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601. BID SUBMISSION:  The deadline for sealed bids is Tuesday, October 12, 2021 @ 10:00 A.M. Sealed bids submitted electronically or received by the office of the City Clerk, 200 East 8th Ave.  Rm. 202, City Hall, Pine Bluff, AR  71601.   At that time the bids will be opened, examined, and read aloud.  The consideration of bid award is the Department’s choice, barring extraordinary circumstances, shall be given to the qualified contractor(s) with the lowest responsible bid, with strong consideration given to timely performance.
 
The Community Development Department, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities.  The successful contractor will be given seven (7) calendar days from the bid award to execute a contract with flexible conditions considered for the construction period based on the contractor’s availability.
