LEGAL NOTICE 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, will at 9:00 o’clock A.M., on the 1st day of April, 2019, at the Monroe County Chancery Building, Aberdeen, Mississippi, receive sealed or electronic bids and award contracts to the lowest responsible bidder for upgrades and repairs to 3 separate elevators.

Official bid documents can be downloaded from CENTRAL BIDDING at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. 

BIDS for the upgrades and repairs of the following elevators located at:

Circuit Courthouse; 301 S. Chestnut St.; Aberdeen, MS 39730  
Chancery Building; 201 W. Commerce St.; Aberdeen, MS 39730
Monroe County Government Complex; 1619 Highland Drive (Highway 2 N.); Amory, MS 38821

Bids should be based upon the inspection reports provided for each elevator.  These inspection reports can be downloaded from centralbidding.com or by emailing the County Administrator at [email protected].  

SEALED bids must be filed with Clerk of the Board or by electronic submission on or before said bid time. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
