AND ONE (1) ROLL OFF TRUCK – SOLID WASTE
 
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
            THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, a report from the Sanitation Department of the need to advertise the sale of two (2) 28 Yard Automated Side Loader trucks and one (1) Roll Off truck, which have been replaced with new units.  The Director of the Sanitation Department recommended advertising for bids.  After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be posted in three (3) places at least ten (10) days prior to the sale and published online at www.centralbidding.com, to-wit:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
            Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on  the 24th day of April, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., open all sealed competitive bids received by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24th, 2020, for the sale to the highest and best bidder for cash, three (3) garbage trucks as follows, to-wit:
            Two (2) 2018 Autocar 28 Yard Automated Garbage trucks w/Heil Side Loader
            VIN# 5VCACRUF8JC226726 & VIN# 5VCACRUFXJC226726
 
            One (1) 2018 Western Star Roll Off Truck
            VIN# 5KKHAVDV7JLZ4768
 
            Vehicles will be located at the Panola County Transfer Station at Courtland, Mississippi, for inspection.
            Sealed, competitive bids must be received in the Office of the Panola County Administrator on or before 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24th, 2020.  Bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, MS 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  The items will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash.  The successful bidder will be expected to pay for items on the date of sale.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The property is being offered “as is” without any warranties, except for clear title.
