Bids shall be on forms prescribed within, and in accordance with detailed specifications, which may be obtained from:

Sealed proposals should be clearly marked on the exterior envelope “Sealed Bid”, and bids received after the specified date and hour will be returned unopened.
 
Bids will be opened, read aloud, and may be taken under advisement for up to thirty (30) days to evaluate in detail. Purchaser reserves the right to reject any and all bids and select the proposal bid deemed in the best interest of the purchaser from among those received.
 
Detailed written technical information, required forms for bidding, and responses will be required from the bidders, as set out in the specifications. Failure of any bidder to furnish all required information will disqualify that particular bidder.

Bid advertised as : One (1) Type 3 Ambulance Remount.
 
I was asked to clarify one of the paragraphs within the Remount Bid Specifications Published September 18, 26 and October 4, 2023.
Page 24, Paragraph head lined with MONITOR BRACKET: 
 
MONITOR BRACKET: A Technimount Pro Serie 35 crashworthy bracket shall be provided.  
The bracket shall fit a Lifepak 15 Monitor.  The bracket system shall be mounted on customer 
supplied Stryker Power Cot with IV adapter and Knee Gatch by vendor.  All base, bracket, IV Pro
Adapter, Safety arm parts shall be included and installed. Technimount Pro Serie 35 will be  
Provided by Lafourche Ambulance District #1.    
 
Question posed: Is the Technimount Pro Series 35 supplied by the Vendor or customer. The paragraph is confusing and says both, “shall be provided”
could be read as the Vendor is responsible. Last sentence says Provided by Lafourche Ambulance District #1. 
 
Since it appears it could be interpreted either way and I would expect it may cause a burden to calculate the cost of the equipment at this late date.
All of the equipment in reference to the Cardiac Monitor Bracket will be supplied by Lafourche Ambulance District #1, all installation of the equipment will be the responsibility of the Vendor.
