It is the intent of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office to secure pricing on the purchase of a minimum of two (2), new model year Harley Davidson Electra Glide Police motorcycles or equal. The new model year motorcycles must be designed specifically for Police work and must meet the minimum specification listed in this bid package. The successful bidder must supply the specified motorcycles. Contingent upon the availability of funds, and the ability of the successful bidder to honor the quoted bid price, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to renew the existing contract for an additional twelve (12) month period to allow for additional purchases on an “as needed” basis.
