Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School Board Purchasing Department, located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.  Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.  Statement of Qualifications will be received until March 26, 2018, 2:00 p.m. CST for:

Comprehensive Safety Assessment of Lafayette Parish School & Office Sites
 
 RFQ# 64-18
 
RFQ# 64-18 requests statement of qualifications from qualified firms which will be responsible for the systematic collection of information on threatening conditions and current, significant, and clearly observable threats to the safety of students, teachers, faculty, and administration within the Lafayette Parish School District.  The firm selected will demonstrate expertise in providing safety assessment for the K-12 school industry.
 
A non-mandatory pre-submittal conference will be held at 2:00 pm CST on March 19, 2018 in the LPSB Board Room located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508.
 
An RFQ package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department of the Lafayette Parish School System located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA  70508 or via the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/purchasing.  Specifications may also be viewed online, and electronic qualifications may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available on Friday, March 9, 2018.
 
At the above stated date and time, only the names of the qualification respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Parish School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase or sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available. 
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications for just cause.
