ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
               
At the option of the bidder, Sealed Bids, in duplicate and/or bids submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com will be received by the Pearl River County Board of Supervisors until 2:00 p.m. on February 28, 2023, at the Administrator’s Office located at 109 West Pearl Street in Poplarville, Mississippi, 39470 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for construction of the following project:
PEARL RIVER COUNTY MSU EXTENSION BUILDING, POPLARVILLE, MS 39470
Bids will be submitted as stated below.
Single Bid for the complete project excluding site work.
Single Bid for the Electrical as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Materials, Labor, and Equipment to complete the below divisions:  Divisions Zero (0), One (1), Twenty-Six (26) and Twenty-Seven (27).
Single Bid for the Plumbing as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Materials, Labor, and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  Divisions Zero (0), One (1), and Twenty-Two (22).
Single Bid for the Concrete as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor, and Equipment to Form, Place and Finish Concrete in accordance with the drawings and specifications dated May 3, 2022, excluding Sidewalks and Parking.
Single Bid for the Framing Package as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor, and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  Section 06100 Rough Carpentry, 061753 Trusses, 072500 Air/Vapor Barrier, 073113 Asphalt Shingles – Underlayment only.
Single Bid for the Roof Package as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  073113 Asphalt Shingles – Excludes Underlayment, 076200 Sheetmetal Flashing and Trim, 076203 Seamless Gutters and Downspouts.
Single Bid for the HVAC Package as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  Division twenty-three (23) Heating, ventilation and Air Conditioning.
Single Bid for the Masonry Package as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  042113.
Single Bid for the Flooring Package as per plans dated May 3, 2022, and specifications.  Material, Labor and Equipment to complete the following divisions:  093013 Ceramic Tile, 096500 Resilient Flooring and Base, 096816 Carpeting.  
 
Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.centralbidding.com under the project name.  Bid documents are available online for viewing and ordering at www.centralbidding.com.  Documents are available via paper copy or pdf.  Any questions regarding website registration and online orders should be directed to Central Bidding at (833) 412-5717.  All other questions can be addressed by Derek Perry, Project Manager for Pearl River County at (601) 813-7878.
The bid bond shall be payable unconditionally to Pearl River County Board of Supervisors.  Bids on the project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the project and no bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the project, for a period of 60 days.  All bids submitted must comply with requirements of Title 31, Chapter 3 (31-3-1) of Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended.
Awards will be made based on the Lowest and Best Bid received in accordance with Title 31, Chapter 7 (31-7-13) of Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended.  The Owner reserves the right to make multiple awards, reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
